Rate 1: (holds another position in Lincoln Public Schools) $56.58 per day OR
Rate 2: (holds no other position in Lincoln Public Schools) $88.75 per day

The Bus Monitor provides effective management of the school bus in facilitating communication, organization, and safety.

Responsibilities
|
The bus monitor will:
- Take attendance each morning and afternoon
- Collect notes and messages from parents
- Send attendance (AM & PM) into the Brooks Office (my mailbox) each morning. (documents may be submitted by a responsible student)
- Submit notes and messages into the Brooks Office METCO Director’s mailbox) each morning (documents may be submitted by a responsible student)
- Assign student seats.
- Answer calls from parents and school using school provided cell phone. (The Director may send text messages throughout the day with updated bus information for students)
- Attendance must be taken each afternoon before leaving school site. If there are any discrepancies or questions call Main office or Director
- Distribute flyers and announcements. Please make sure that students place them in their backpacks or give them directly to parents
