Job Summary: The Academic Advisor Assistant works as part of the Lincoln staff helping to monitor the academic performance of students in the METCO program as well as implementing support strategies to enhance academic social and emotional achievement.

Responsibilities
|
The Academic Advisor will:
- Meet on a regular bases with the Academic Advisor to discuss students, strategies andd create academic and social emotional goals
- Meet Director/Academic Advisor to establish and monitor goals related to school performance. Participate in group activities for students that facilitate successful learning experience.
- Serves as a resource to students and staff by providing in class supports and keeping a binder of student work samples and notes of implemented strategies.
- Meets with teachers as needed to conference about in class supports for students as a way of monitoring strategies to address
- Help the Director and AA support students and staff sensitivity to and understanding of the Boston Resident students’ experience.
- Ability to deliver Literacy and Math intervention, extensions, after school tutoring, homework support and student academic vocabulary development.
