METCO After-School Tutor
Starting Date: September 26, 2017
Current Rate: $22.76 per hour (rate for next school year to be determined by School Committee)
Days of week: Tuesday and Thursday afternoons
Hours per week: 3
Hours per day: 1.5
Time: 2:50 - 4:20 p.m.
Qualifications
Must have the ability to deliver literacy and math support
The METCO extended learning tutor works as part of the extended learning program with METCO students in grades 4-8.
Responsibilities
• Assists with homework
• Provide additional instrution per student's area(s) of weakness
• Meets with middle school METCO Academic Advisor regularly to monitor student progress
